William G. DOSS  

1873 - 1957

William Galen Doss was born in Hancock County, Illinois on November 27, 1873. He moved to Laguna Beach, California about 1923 and was active there with the local art colony for the rest of his life. He was self-taught except for a few art lessons with Anna Hills. He died in Laguna Beach on November 24, 1957.
