Grace MALLON
1911 - 1987
Grace Elizabeth Mallon was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on November 1, 1911. Mallon studied at the Newark School of Fine Arts. By the 1930s she had settled in Hollywood where she continued her art studies at Chouinard and Otis Art Institutes, and with Ralph Holmes, Phil Paradise, and Millard Sheets. She then worked in the art departments of Disney, Universal Studios, Fairbanks Films, Churchill-Wexler Films, and Hanna-Barbera Studios until retirement in 1973. The artist died in Hollywood, California on December 16, 1997.
